Try the Y O Ranch steak house in the West end! Kinda Pricey but the time i went i got elk chops, quail brest, and buffalo tenderloin!

K2 Steakhouse in BayCity on Hwy 60 just a block north of 35. It's well worth the 2 hour drive from Houston. Fresh Seafood and some awesome sourdough burgers. As for Houston if I need a steak I'll grill it myself or maybe head over to Hickory Hollow on Heights Blvd block north of Washington Ave. Good T-Bones, big potatoes and some HUGE Chicken Fried Steak

I'm a big fan of Bob's but can't argue Bee Hive is a close second...

due to lack of $$$, i'm unable to say either Del Friscos, Bob's Steak and Chop House, or Three Forks. so, i'm gonna have to say Pauls Porterhouse.

If I'm gonna fork out the bucks for steak, it's gonna be at my house so their done right. Nobody does it better than homestyle. Steaks can be good at a roadhouse but not great.

Ribeye, baked potato, skewers of jumbo shrimp, ice cold beverages, a roaring mesquite fire - in my back yard with a hilltop view of the Texas Hill Country. For me, nothing beats that!
