My 2012 F-250 now has 30,000 miles and the back tires are looking bald. I tow mostly when I use the truck and try to ge the most aggressive E rated all terrain I can find.
What would you recommend

Not real aggressive, but the Nitto Terra Grapplers I had put on a few years ago have been great. They make a mud terrain also I believe that is a hoss.

I've ran both the duratracs and Toyo at II xt's
Duratrac is more agressive but got a few more miles out of the Toyo
Going to try the Toyo RT's here in a few months

Toyo R/T will/should be your best bet.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

Cooper SST's on my 3500 Cummins DRW. Have 35K on them with more than half the tread left. Must rotate them regularly......ask me how I know.

Nitto Trail Grappler M/T all the way last set I ran 62k no issues This is exactly what I have on my Cummins. I have 28K on them and have half the treat left. I am very optimistic that I will get another 15-20K out of them if not a little more. I am religious about rotating them every 5k miles. Good tire. I do, however like the looks of the Toyo better but I wasnt goign to pay $350 more for looks.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

Going with a set of Pro Comp Xtreme A/T's 295/60R/20. I read a bunch of reviews on the BF Goodrich KO 2's and most were not satisfactory per tire rack.com, looked hard at the Toyo's but like the looks of the Pro Comp.

Just a FYI - if gas mileage matters- the bigger and heavy Tires will affect mileage & oversize tires will screw up speedo & mileage also

Been using Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar on my work trucks for a while now and they are great. We do a lot of towing and a fair bit of off road including trips to the landfill and metal recyclers. Great handling, good tread life, and not too noisy.

My main concern is the load capacity of the tire and the pro comp has one of the heavier rated

The larger the tire in the same range should have a higher carrying capacity.
or a 285 load range "E" will have a higher capacity than a 265 load range "E"

Trail Grappler M/T by Nitto tires are really bang for the bucks. Performance and styling is superb, compared with other known brands.

I had the Toyo A/T Extreme on my f250. Had about 30000 on them and about 1/2 tread left when I replaced them. I have ran these tires for years but the cost has increased because of popularity.
I just got the new Fuel Grappler M/T and I'm very impressed! They just came out and there is no noticeable road noise difference between Toyo A/T and the Fuel M/T. Rumor is they have a 50-60 tread life and we're almost $400 less than the Toyos price.

The toyo's aren't much cheaper, if the dealer keeps putting me off with the pro comps I'm going local and getting the Toyo's. This guy at a 4x4 shop that sales Pro Comps ordered the tires and they were supposed to be in 3 days ago, getting my deposit back today if he doesn't have them.
