As of this morning Mathis/CC was only 3 foot low.
Lots of rain falling upstream of Choke on the Frio and San Miguel drainages, may take a bit but hopefully some of it finds its way to the lake.

I'm not sure what our total is for 2015 in southern Live Oak County, but it has to be over 20 inches. Two nights ago our rain gauges overflowed, so that's at least 6 inches of rain in just one night. I haven't heard what we got last night and this morning yet. We have a pasture that borders the north end of Lake CC and we have water in our cove and under our pier for the first time in over a year. Lake CC is at 77%, but should be rising some more. Of course "they" will start letting water out soon... I have been using this site for a couple of years now. It has been fairly accurate for me. It does record every shower no matter how small or much falls. www.farmlogs.com

How long has it been since you guys had this much Precip Last good years were 2007 at 43" and 2010 at 38" but 2011 was only 10" total for the year. 2012 started out good but from May till the end of the year it only rained 9". Since 2011 is has been from in the low 20"+ range but less than 30". This year is already almost as much as last years total though. I know a neighbor to my north about 6 miles said that he had 58" one of those years (IIRC it was 2007) You can even highlight the area around your blind to see what rainfall it has had this year or previous years.

I have had a little over 21" as of yesterday morning. Probably another 1.25"-1.5" today to add to that. I only recorded a little over 22" all of last year in any of my gauges.

Been raining here since 6:05 this morning and still raining. I will shred one more time then leave it for fawn and quail cover since I have shredded roads and fencelines 3 times already. Won't shred anymore till late August at the earliest.

Do yal prefer shredding or disking roads?
I feel disking keeps longer and it hits the little mesquites etc harder than shredding.

I would rather shred then spray mesquites to keep the roads from washing bad with rains.
