As of this morning Mathis/CC was only 3 foot low.

Lots of rain falling upstream of Choke on the Frio and San Miguel drainages, may take a bit but hopefully some of it finds its way to the lake.

Great, rain up that way way sure helps the Medina Mud Hole (Lake)

Pipe Creek is running better the the Medina River usually is.

I have been using this site for a couple of years now. It has been fairly accurate for me. It does record every shower no matter how small or much falls. www.farmlogs.com

Hi and dry? Unless you are in the NW corner of Duval then you have gotten some rain. Click on the Storm Total button on the left menu bar.

Last good years were 2007 at 43" and 2010 at 38" but 2011 was only 10" total for the year. 2012 started out good but from May till the end of the year it only rained 9". Since 2011 is has been from in the low 20"+ range but less than 30". This year is already almost as much as last years total though. I know a neighbor to my north about 6 miles said that he had 58" one of those years (IIRC it was 2007)
You can even highlight the area around your blind to see what rainfall it has had this year or previous years.

You must be down in the SE corner then since that is the only area that has missed most of the rains this morning.

I have had a little over 21" as of yesterday morning. Probably another 1.25"-1.5" today to add to that. I only recorded a little over 22" all of last year in any of my gauges.

Do yal prefer shredding or disking roads?

I feel disking keeps longer and it hits the little mesquites etc harder than shredding.

I would rather shred then spray mesquites to keep the roads from washing bad with rains.
