I was discouraged. I went to the web sites you guys mentioned to see about a elk hunt. I got no response, which surprised me. I know I could go in Texas and have a great time but I really want to do the horseback trip thing. I guess I will reach out again..Just venting

Did you draw? Gary webb in NM hunts around the Gila but he does draw only hunts no landowner tags. The draw has passed for this year.

I just booked a trip with Colorado trophies in Redvale colo. My first trip so I am sorta blind in this hunt. They were recommended to me and I like what I heard. I am going on the oct 17th hunt. It is over the counter tags.

Colorado does have alot if good otc tags and alot of public land hunting if you do some research.
