Mossberg MVP LR Does anyone think that this would make a good entry level long range rifle or is it just tacticool? I would have to get good glass of course. It wouldn't be a hunting rifle, but only for 500 yard plus steel and paper target shooting.

I think this is a rifle that should make other manufacturers realize the status quo isn't going to cut it anymore. It's packed full of features. We've had great success with the MVP that we sold. I'm looking hard at one.

Wow, that thing is PACKED with features. 20 in. medium bull barrel that's threaded, cheek riser, detachable magazine, pillar bedded, and picatinny rail.
I would say it is worth getting just because all the features. Are there any after market triggers for it? I have used the Mossberg LBA trigger before and was not too impressed with it, but thats just me.

I'll preface my comments by saying that I like Mossberg. But I don't see why you would spend that much on one. They're built as inexpensive rifles with hunting-level accuracy IMHO. If I was looking for a long-range precision gun, I wouldn't buy something with mediocre quality and limited aftermarket upgrade capability.

90% of what the guy talked about in the video was that it took ar magazines, came threaded, and was a fluted 20" barrel... so any info about the action accuracy etc?

I have one of the MVP's in 5.56 that shoots dime-sized 5 shot groups @ 100 with 55 gr pushed by H335. I'm guessing this one will be fairly accurate as well. but like all factory guns YMMV.

I have the MVP Predator and it shoots .5 MOA or less.
The farthest I shot with mine is 200 yards but I don't see why it wouldn't perform at 500 yards.
