West Kerr Ranch is offering a spring axis buck special on the west division (3,000 acres) of the ranch. The area is protein fed and we need some axis bucks taken out so we don't have to feed them through the summer. The majority of hunting style will be spot and stalk. The cost is $2450. This includes 1 axis buck, 1x1 guide, 2 days of hunting and 2 nights lodging. Meals not included. We have a fully equipped kitchen in the lodge. We are located between Kerrville and Junction. If the West division of the ranch is the piece that borders HWY 83 then I can tell everyone that I've seen some VERY nice Axis bucks on that part of the ranch while traveling down the Hwy. Beautiful place. Baker

I'm wondering why this is considered a "special" if the normal is
"AXIS BUCK PACKAGE
1 Axis Buck
1 Hog
3 Consecutive Days of Hunting
*Cost: $2,900 Deposit: $1,450"
For $450 more you get another day of hunting and can take a hog? Am I reading/understanding this correctly?
