I've loaded .266. In a quick "out the dining room window" check, the standalone photo option is working again. All my settings appear to have been wiped out. No audio. Scope still "auto-restarts" when I try to turn it off using the power button.

I just got mine sighted in good and now a chance it all goes away with the update. I may just hold off a while.

When they state "reticle glitches" fixed, does this mean I can remove my shims, sight in the scope, and the reticle will be centered at no zoom applied?
Those who give up liberty for security deserve neither.

I'm still on the .200 software. Been busy with other projects. Is it a bad idea to go straight to this update.

It sounds like they need to hire a PR person to respond to customers.
Oh, that gun? I've had that forever.

After this latest firmware update, I’m sadden that I have to shelf my ATN X-Sight until some future date when ATN address the real issues with their scope. I had such high hopes for this scope, on “Paper” it looks great and someday they may get the scope working.
It appears the ATN has asked us to pay to “Beta” test their equipment, after 4 or so firmware upgrades they have corrected some Beta testers’ issues and added a few new feature. But at the end of the day, it’s still a lousy nighttime scope. ATN needs to correct the Auto Dimming, THIS NEEDS TO BE THEIR TOP PRIORTY. I don’t need GPS, I don’t need WIFI, if it came down to having the Video option or disabling the auto dimming, I’ll pick manual dimming any day. I dusted off my Sightmark Photon XT 4.6x42s last night and couldn’t believe how much better the picture quality was at night compared to the X-Sight. The Photon is so simple to use, just an on-off switch and a onetime reticle adjustment, no GPS, WIFI and no constant IR and Focus adjustment, it just works!!! it’s half its weight and it’s was cheaper.
Just about everyone in the hunting community have a daytime scope, the consumers that are buying the X-Sight are looking for a scope that have night time capability THAT WORKS!!!
Since I paid to become a beta tester, here is my comments in order of importance:
1. Get rid of the auto dimming and have a manual dimming option - TOP PRIORTY!! 2. Video and audio working. 3. WIFI – able to update firmware and view video and photo on phone. 4. GPS 5. Still a lot of bugs need to be squashed.

I certainly agree that my Photon XT is much better at night than MY X-Sight. Not even close. Flip side, I think they are making progress and the scope can be used at this point. It isn't as advertised, nor do I care about GPS, wi-fi, blah, blah, but it is usable to hunt with...within certain parameters. If I could have the audio working and the dimming issue fixed, I'd be fine with it. Otherwise, it is dang hard to use this stuff to start with when you have thermal gear setting there ready to go...

I believe the reticle glitch fix relates to an issue where if you zeroed at anything other than base mag your POI would possibly be off at other magnifications. It should now not matter what mag you zero at.

I'm not updating this time as there's nothing new that I need. Auto dimming definitely needs to go. I'm still trying to figure why I need to know how fast I'm going when looking through the scope

Still no audio, to me this makes my x-sight a paperweight, I'll stick it back in the closet, why would they even release any update and not fix this since it once worked? amazes me...
Need to fix this and low light amplification flicker and the image changing brightness

thanks I have a 3x and a 5x and both will focus on pictures on the wall in the next room, a distance of about 25-30 feet (8-10 meters). I haven't tried to focus any closer.

Need to fix this and low light amplification flicker and the image changing brightness I like having no audio. Every video I look at, I shut the audio off because I get tired of hearing the scratchy sounds. I haven't loaded the 266 version yet, but I've only had issues with the brightness of the IR on close objects blurring the scopes view. In open field conditions with the T20 IR, the scopes worked better than any digital I've used to date. I'm still saving my pennies for a 3X.

You can turn the microphone off...but you can also turn it on. If you like no audio, YOU can turn the microphone off. Those who want audio have to deal with a smoke-and-mirrors menu routine that says "ON," but does nothing. You liking it doesn't squash the bug for those who expect this to work.

They fixed my wifi issue! It cruised right through the entire configure process.
And now I remember why I didn't care. No reticle on the wifi vide display.
