been working on this for about 2 months...still got some minor things to finish (lights....permanent electric....some kind of header above smoke chamber)...this is my first time to cook on it...so far holding temp really well....god bless...randy

easton1025.......yes sir there is.....2 8" wide pieces of 1/16 " plate which leaves a 4" gap...above that about 5" is another plate...all can be removed for cleaning....thanks

thanks for the kind words....shotgun.....i located these on amazon doing a search for toggle latches...then found some here in lubbock at a welding supply...they seem to work great.......
