Has anyone used any of this ammo? I see if you go to ammunition on the webpage they have it in smaller lots also: 1000rd for $90 etc. etc.

It's cheaply made ammo, about like Wolf and Tula, the Russian made stuff. If all you want is cheap foreign ammo, then it will do. But performance wise, it's not very good.

Yep, Wolf/SK is highly praised by many users on Rimfire Central as a mid-priced, accurate load; mid-priced compared to the more expensive match/target loads such as Eley, RWS, Lapua..., particularly when used in the CZ 452/453/455 series. Though from what I understand, the Wolf centerfire ammo does not carry the same cachet.

Wolf rimfire is not made by the same manufacturer that makes the cheap centerfire stuff. Wolf .22 LR is some pretty darned good ammo. In fact, I believe SK makes it.

No first-hand experience with S&B though. I'd like to hear from someone who knows.

I'll be honest, I've shot some center fire customer ammo with S&B, and was not impressed at all. 140+ extreme spreads and just crappy ammo. I've had numerous shooters run Wolf/Tula primers and ammo, and have all kinds of failure to ignite and accuracy issues. With the dirty powders they use, for a little bit more you can get better factory ammo. Some people only want cheap ammo, and IMO, S&B, Wolf, and Tula is it. Others will spend a little more to get better ammo. I'm the latter.

Chad quit comparing centerfire experience to rimfire. In Europe, almost all 22 ammunition is used for target shooting, plinking just isn't done. In general it's decent ammo, use the link I posted, it's all laid out.

Honestly, no. But since it says Wolf on it, I won't buy it. I'd rather buy the CCI or Winchester stuff. It's kind of like Taurus pistols. I own a 357 Mag revolver and my brother owned a PT45. The PT45 was the biggest POS with trigger and resetting issues. My revolver had major issues that were finally fixed after multiple returns to the factory for repair. I'll never buy another Taurus for the same reason.

Well, I can sure understand that...I'll stay away from certain brands myself, Remington Thunderbolt rim fire ammo comes to mind! But Wolf rimfire is not made by the same outfit that makes their centerfire ammo (which I also would NEBER use). Wolf rimfire is made by SK, amd it is excellent. I'd give you a box to try. I promise you that you'd be impressed with its accuracy in a rifle that likes it, and I think most rimfire rifles DO like it. Some of them absolutely LOVE it.

FWIW Wolf .22 ammo is just repackaged SK Jagd ammo. SK is now owned by Lapua. Wolf .22 LR ammo is very high quality stuff. My older daughter used it in her .22 Anschutz to set 5 NRA national records in 50 yard outdoor smallbore matches a few years ago.

Wolf .22 ammo is neither cheap nor poor quality (unlike their steel cased centerfire ammo that is good for making noise but not much else).
