Knowing he most likely has some young-ens running around that part of the country it will be interesting to see what his offspring will look like. Curious, how did you weigh him.

I'm sure he has a lot of offspring around. He was an Alfa boar. So much so the other hogs haven't touched his carcass all week. Even thou they ate all the varmints and axis carcass next to him. I used a 500# spring scale with my 10ton chain hoist to wiegh him.

I hope I don't ever trap one like that. That sucker looks like he could go through hog panel with ease. We did trap a 310# pig last week but his cutters were small, like 1-1/2" and he'd been shot in one of his back legs so he wasn't much of a factor in the box trap. Excellent work, dude. That's a once in a lifetime piglet right there.

The scale hit 350 on the dot with this hog. I Wiegh 262 he has almost a 100#s on me. He was very wide in the shoulders and back. Il post another pic or two from diffrent angles later.

Be nice if more folk had a set of scales to use for weight instead of guesstimating.... Hog like this would make you get inside after dark...
