So its the last weekend and I have mixed emotions. On one side I've been invited on what should be one h3!! of a goodtime. Expect to shoot a duck maybe even some green. But ITS THE LAST FREEKING WEEKEND!!..................................... Till September. I think we need a longer split or season, but I wish we could keep on keeping on until end of February. So who's going this last weekend and who has already packed it in?

Was going to go this morning but now I'm going tomorrow morning...truck is packed.
Damn Hopedale...we got a season that lasts 3 months plus teal...hard to blame things on a short season. I'm hoping you can redeem yourself this weekend.

I will probably be out somewhere Saturday hunting just because it is the only morning left that I will be free to duck hunt this year. But I certainly am not packing it in. Snipe hunting in Texas will continue for me on at least three lakes until the middle of Feb. At least one challenging public upland fur and feather hunt. A couple Young county Sandhill hunts, Cranes willing. And my annual Oklahoma Crow hunt late Feb to early March.

I am going tomorrow morning before work, it will be a quickie - 35 minutes, then I will be going Saturday morning. Not sure if I will get to Sunday, I usually dont. Good luck everyone! I am going to try and get two woodrows in the morning!

I was planning on fishing Saturday. But that it is hunting weather. So I am gettin after them on Saturday.

Maybe yo uneed to go ahead and start telling mamma hey I am going o be duck hnting this weekend and these weekends until the end of the year. Heck 9 months notice ain't bad. Just start scheduling them now starting in September with teal season. 
you know what time your goign to be leaving yet?

To be honest, I am looking forward to it being over! Worst duck season I can recall in the past 10 years! Mallards just never showed in force. Time to relax and spend time at home!
