I purchased a home last fall, and the weeds are starting to take over. I'm looking for some help identifying my weeds, and I'm hoping y'all can provide some insight on the best way to control them asap. Here's some photo's of what I'm dealing with. 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7)

Best way to control them is to pull them. Go buy a Weed Weasel from Lowes, simply place over the weed then step on it and make one full twist. The weed pops right out. I did this last year and filled 6 55gallon sized trash bags. Best step after that is a good fertilizer regiment, I like Scott's brand the best. The reason I recommned pulling the weeds is so that when you mow you won't knock off all the seeds creating more work next year when they germinate. As far as identification, pull some and take them to your local nursery, they should be able to help. I had #2-7 in my yard, they are hard to kill without using Round-Up.

I'm not a weed expert but.....
Not sure about the first one but the rest look like rye/rescue grass and dandelions. Rye/rescue is a cool season weed that will die off when the weather warms up. Pull the dandelions or spot treat with something like 2-4D or Roundup.

Yep, most of them will be gone when it warms un.

Alright that sounds good. I'm going to start a fertilizer and pre/emergent regiment now that we should be done with the freezes.
I'm most concerned about weed #1. It follows the entire fence line and coveres the lawn about 1-2 yards in from the fence. I don't think it's practical to pull all of those, so I'll probably try a spray once I identify it.

If you spray then do it ASAP. Round-Up will not kill grass when the grass is dormant. It won't be too much longer until it starts to wake up

Pull as much as you can out root in all.while it is cool. After temps are up, broadleaf killer on the weeds. Herbacide on the grasses. Any unwanted grasses present in august could be killed out with MSMA.
If use a weed and feed, apply to wet grass, no rain or water for period listed on bag.
This is one time we need to read and follow the directions on containers.
Been having good results with Bayer products from Lowes.
If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Spot shoot it with round up while your bermuda is still dormant. Go grab some fertilizer that has a pre emergent in it and broadcast that out at the specified rate. Then when it warms up and gets green hit any broadleafs with 2/4d and use msma for the grassy weeds or be very careful with round up. It actually takes quite a bit of round up to kill bermuda. As always follow the directions on your selected products!

For the weeds 2-4, do not use this stuff from home depot LINK I was told it worked great for those weeds...it didn't do squat for mine.
