Listing this at the request of the landowner we currently lease from. 5,500 acres East of Paducah There are some stands and possibly structures in camp that were left behind from the previous group. They couldn't afford to hang on to this place this year. There are a few miles of the pease river that run through the property. PM for contact info. You would deal directly with them. Game would include WT, MD, turkey and hogs. I believe year round access.

Cleared out some PM's. I believe they want about 7.00/acre. Might be able to negotiate price a little with enough people. That is between you and them to work out.

Any game cam or recent kill pics?

Not sure if they have any or not. I have no idea what kind of animals have been harvested.

Several individuals have inquired about this place as well. If any of the guy's with established groups take the place, post up and give some of them a chance. I would have taken this whole place if they were more flexible on price, but I wasn't wanting to put 12-15 guys on at the price they want. You know how it usually works out though, 4-5 guy will be regulars and the rest will show up 4-5 time a year.

Is this the same lease that's posted on TBH? If so it's listed there at $3500/gun. Sure sounds like the same place.

Not that I know of, I hadn't posted it anywhere else. One of the guy's that I referred may have posted it over there.

To all concerned, the ranch is 40K, total, not 42K. Ntexasarcher will be pocketing $167 per hunter on the other 11 guns, he has already let me know this after I asked him (very cordially BTW) if the extra 2k is going back into the ranch for protein, etc. His reply was this,
"To think I should pay the same as everyone when I'm showing, preping, and putting up my 40k for the place as well as manageing and dealing with the owners says a lot about you and your lack of knowledge. Don't worry, you'll not be hunting with the rest of us. I have a lot of good hunters on board to have to put up with bad ones. You didn't make the cut. Have a great day!! Do not contact me again!!"
This from a guy who hasnt even been on the ranch yet, hes going to the ranch tomorrow with check in tow, he sure is special, good luck hunting with this jackass. I believe he should be re-imbursed some for his initial time and $$, but not 2K worth. My 2 cents - just a heads up

This lease sounded like a train wreck, from the first post.

Wow, got another one of the deer lease commandos. Sadly, I've seen this happen to good friends over a deer lease. Never seen people get so worked up over a damn deer lease, or get jealous of others, or sit and judge other people. Deer leases tend to bring out the real character in most people...

My 2 cents - just a heads up I have no problem with the guy who is putting the deal together getting his hunting for free at least the first year. Trying to get a dozen like minded guys who want the same thing out of a lease is at minimum a monumental task and he will have to handle all the BS when someone steps out of line which will happen. It is really a job and should be compensated rather well in my opinion. I sure as heck wouldn't do it for free.
