I am in the market for a good goose and duck gun. What recommendations can I get on a semi auto
Isn't the best way to save face to keep the lower part shut?

I second the A400. I've got a Xplor (don't need 3.5) and love it.

Beretta A400 extreme is the best. Fastest cycling , soft shooting, and reliable as the sun.

This gets my vote, but that is because it fits me absolutely perfectly.

X5 on the Beretta. Look at the A300 as well, just as solid a gun at a better price point.

Man I've got the A400 xtreme, browning maxus and the new browning A5. I like the a5 best. It just fits me better. It swings and shoulders easier to me and the gun just "feels" the best to me. It's a personal preference and honestly you can't go wrong with browning, beretta or Benelli. Just don't buy that ugly looking Benelli vinci!! haha. You'll have them forever. Good luck

Beretta, Benelli or Browning. Shoulder several and see which one fits you best. I went in wanting the A400 but left with the Benelli Vinci. The A400 didn't fit me very well. It's a really fat gun and just didn't feel right.

FRANCHI I-12 Absolutely love mine. Sold my POS Mossberg 835 and made a DRASTIC upgrade to the I-12
Will be using mine in about a week (next Fri, Sat, and Sun) to hopefully put a dent in the local 'white devil' (AKA- snow geese) population.

Ya can't beat the NEW Browning A-5. End of discussion.

Beretta Outlander. GrabaGun has them around 700 right now, camo version too. Can't beat that IMO

Just spend $700 or more of you're going semi auto, the only option under that would be the beretta 391. Don't gamble on a $400 auto unless you're prepared to possibly lose.
Now, for the real advise: Get an SX3 because they're the best in the world. I know because I own one
