Hey guys looking for some information. I have a few hides I want to tan myself. Not looking to mount them or anything just as kind of throws on the back of chairs and stuff like that. I've got some sika, axis and bobcat. I just need to know what product to buy to do it right. I would like them soft and to last. I've searched the Internet and there are so many differnt options that all claim to be the best. Just figured I could get some info from people who are not trying to push their own product and will give honest opinion. Thanks

I use a safety acid pickle, w tru bond tan and their oil. To get them soft if u don't have a shaver(fleshing wheel) it will b a chore. This product if used right turns em white and supple. When breaking the hide turns super soft. I prefer to send to a tannery but this product is really nice. U can order online. Hope this helps. Or u can just bring em to me
