Been a while since I have been on here!

Was the toughest year to date for me and us as an outfit!

BUT, the stars aligned for two days while Kent Outdoors hosted the first annual Dallas Safari Club Duck hunt!

Quack Shack TV was there to video the hunt and we had a GREAT time!

it was a tough year for sure, I was wondering how yall did up that way. I was thinking that yalls area was right on the border line of being a hero season or a turd of a season.

At least the ducks showed up for the TV cameras, so those guys could whack 'em

Hope y'all like it! I will be on there as well in the team real tree hat. I'm 18 and my 15 year old brother are on the second episode with scott and the quack shack crew. That was one of the most fun duck hunts I have ever been on! It was a pleasure hunting with you J.J!

That is by far fast becomming one of my fav duck shows. I like the fact that they show not every day is a smack down. I seen a few where they had a few slow days and had to move around.

How do I get one of those pro staff deals at Whataburger?

Great show. Good job by Kent putting them on some birds. Some days it happens some it doesn't. Glad it happened.

That is odd how it all turns out. I wound up having a really good year htis year.

There were some poor shots on that second episode in the am. Thank god for the editing (translation: jj's back up)
The afternoon hunt over the field was awesome.
Not easy to book guys on preset days and you have to pray for wind, clouds and a front...

.....on the first episode everything died. Kinda coincidental that's the one where I'm in.

Saw the first episode just lasat night off of DVR and gonna try to watch the second one tonight. This is one of my top waterfowl shows to watch!!!!!!

I wish the quack shack crew could have stayed for the third day when my brother, grandfather, and I hunted that same field as the afternoon hunt but in the morning. At times I thought I could hold my hat up and catch a teal in it. That was my first time hunting in a dry/puddled field and I think that may be my favorite way to hunt ducks now. I shot a wall hanger double sprig pintail on that hunt that I will never forget. That was an awesome hunt!

Those teal were pretty awesome, if we had set up 20 yards behind us, we would have limited out in minutes on teal, but sorta glad we were more towards where the mallards and pintails wanted to be!

Pretty sure you shot that Sprig a full minute before your brother could even stand up... LOL...

Probably the nicest Pintail that was shot this year!

Lol, when I don't think I have moved so fast in my life! Thanks again for the great time. I am going to try and book a hunt when we get a break from college at Arkansas

I know it's not just the quack shack guys, but good Lord I'd like to get a shell count on some of the filmed hunts. I see way more pairs get shot at by 5 guys and live than I could handle

No kidding. I enjoy the show and I'm sure tv doesn't tell the whole story, but some awful shooting at times.

Brother you have hunted with me enough to know that I am decent at best!

There were kids in the blind and a couple of older gentleman that were in that blind. If I can at least hold a gun at the age much less shoot it I'll be happy. Keyboard warriors, carry on.
