I'm building my first AR, and I need to find a quality free floating quad rail/hand guard! I want to spend anywhere from $50-$100 bucks, but the only catch is I'd really like to get it in Flat Dark Earth color to go along with the rest of the build Any of y'all know of any good rails, or have any recommendations? Thanks! -Drew

Hey Drew, as you study more on your build, you will se the old "cheese grater" quad rail is being replaced with the slim, rounded or "triangle" shaped hand guard's as bjones suggests above. They all come with rail sections so you can still hang all the crap on it if needed.
Checkem out. Even Daniel Defense is offering a slim style. they kinda mastered the quad rail

There are tons on Ebay for less than $75. Don't waste your money on a $150-200 rail to maybe save a couple ounces unless you just want a brand name. Spend your money on a stock or trigger.
