I cannot get the videos I shot to play in Quicktime. They will play in another program I have called VLC, but it's much more of a hassle.

It is set to 720x480 at 30fps and High Quality. I think I selected LCD for Output, but not sure. The other options are PAL and NTSC. I'm using this on the Photon XT.

Any suggestions?

Miro Video Converter - will turn them into mp4 or mov

Or import straight into IMovie and edit them and output them as mov.

No suggestions to make Quicktime play them.

Thanks for your thoughts. I tried calling UNV but their phone number doesn't work (?).

Converting with Miro results in significant loss of audio quality, as well as a buzzing sound not previously present.

iMovie will not import or read the files.

They are already MP4, but I cannot work with them.

That said, the MDVR does not record files compatible with Apple computers, although they will play just fine in dropbox or youtube on your iPhone.

Thank you for responding. That is really too bad. I'm sure you didn't set up the MDVR to not work with Macs intentionally.

Try the VLC program for MAC, it should play that file type no problem.

Thanks. As I said in Post #1, I have VLC and it plays them. However, I cannot figure out how to go frame-by-frame in VLC (when viewing the kill shot). Do you know how to do this?
