do a dead strap mount, cuz lets face it, your paying for both, so that way, when you break up, you can keep what you paid for.

I would look at Todd with Birdman or Birdworks here locally ( I keep meaning to visit him on my way out west). Watch out for the "flattened pancake" or "stretched gooseneck" looking mounts a lot of these so called Taxidermists are turning out! Don't let someone that doesen't know what they are doing ruin your mount because you want to save a few bucks or get a fast turn around.
Here are 2 flying poses that work good with Pintails

Even though it's a Mallet, a Pintail can look good this way.

These mounts are over 25 yrs old so I would definetly check out the work of Birdworks or Birdman. Good Bird Taxidermy has come a long way from 25 yrs ago.

Birdworks...can't beat him. Like somebody else said, Birdman is a good place to look for posing ideas...he has a lot of pics on his website.

In my opinion, flushing away is the ideal pintail pose. But there are some very nice sitting poses as well.
