I can't exactly recall where I found them (maybe on retrievertraining.net) but anyway, I thought I would ask if anyone has any experience with Coldwater Creek Retrievers near Longview, TX? They have some puppies coming but I've never heard anyone mention this group before. Here's a link to their website... http://www.coldwatercreekretrievers.com/current-litters.html

I got a pup from Shawn, very good guy. He does some training and goes to some Hunt Tests here and there. Mostly his breedings are good, meaning they have Hunt Test and Field Trial lines along with Health Clearances. The link to the pup page you attached is a good example of a good Hunt Test Line (with some Field Trail Champs rolled in down the line) which will likely make for great hunting dog and/or hunt test dog.

Thanks for the response and info on the litter. I am not looking for a field trial dog so this might be up my alley. I will get the dog professionally trained but probably only for hunting and not hunt tests. Looking for a good dog that will hunt and also be our house dog.
