Sorry if this has been asked already 100 times but what light does everyone use and why? I've been looking into getting one and have looked at ND3's, VRL-1, and night eyes. What light is the most effective without dumping a ton of cash?
Thanks.

I use an Elusive Wildlife Tech. XL250 in green and have been well satisfied. About $135.00 I think.
My Yote toys, Ruger 77 22-250 Foxpro 416B & numerous hand calls ************ God would never send Firefighters to Hell because we would put the fire out!

I use that light in red, but bought it direct from China (Lightmalls.com). Cost $27.

I use The Cat 250 from wildcat hunting products in green. Comes with 2 batteries w/ charger, regular push power button, pressure switch and mount for scope. I believe it was $80 and have been very pleased with it. It also comes in red or white.

What kind of distances are those good for? They both advertise 250 yards but how accurate is that? Thanks for the info guys!

On a clear night it can see the further than I prefer my shots to be. Furthest predator kill was a yote just under 200 that winded me. Never really tested it out for sure though

I've looked at the coyote light before and can't justify spending $429...I have heard great things about them though.
