Anyone mind pm'ing me with info pointing me towards a successful wood duck hunt? I've not been duck hunting for the last few years and have never had the good fortune of bagging a wood duck. Since it's looking more and more like my duck hunting days will be over, I'm hoping someone can point me to the right location so that I can get my holy grail before hanging up the waders for good. Not asking for specific info here in the open forum but any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. If this post upsets anyone, that is not my intention, just wanting the chance to put a wood duck on the wall before calling it quits.
Why the hell should I have to press 1 for English!!??

Your location says San Antonio. How far are you willing to drive/pay?
I don't have much help for you, but that info may help others direct you.

start driving east till you hit the piney woods. then look for a creek somewhere on public land. then start looking for wood ducks in said creek
I like spoonie, his humor is dryer than my duck lease.

If you're willing to drive down to the Eagle Lake area, I can get you a wood.
