Had an small Axis Buck show up on our low fence property. Hopefully he sticks around for a bit. Also, a few other trail cam photos from the last week (ignore the date and time on the camera - it wasn't set). Wish we'd get some up north of Abilene. With the way they breed maybe it won't be long!

I know they range the Brady Creek, other large creeks in Concho and San Saba River down around Menard in Menard County. There a lot of them in McCulloch County. I have seen them as far south into South Texas along HWY 624 east of Cotulla along the Nueces River. At one time there was a larger herd of them close to Haujuco Lane off of HWY 624. I have also seen some free ranging along Cummins Creek north of Columbus. I have heard there was some free ranging in Calhoun County at one time years ago.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

Also saw three does as I was driving between Brady and Eden in a wheat field that was low fence.
Something knocked over one of my feeders when it started to get low, so I am hoping there are more in my immediate area.
