Thanks for all of the opinions. I've been leaning towards shoulder mount. I have a guy that will do it for $250-300 depending on the form I pick

Thanks for all of the opinions. I've been leaning towards shoulder mount. I have a guy that will do it for $250-300 depending on the form I pick Josh, low-ball taxidermy work is poor economy, I believe. If you want to spend $250-300 for a shoulder mount, you may as well go ahead and opt for a euro job. Every morning for the rest of your life, you're going to walk through your trophy room with that first cup of coffee and REGRET that you didn't spring for a proper shoulder mount. IMO, a taxidermist that will do a shoulder mount on a buck for $250-300 MUST cut corners somewhere. Do you want him to cut corners on your trophy?
