Paint will keep it from weathering and rotting as fast for sure.

I'd paint it with a green base coat. Then cut a couple of small branches with leaves. Then hold the branches on the blind and spray paint them with brown, black etc spray paint. Makes a nice natural camo.

Just built this today. Would yall paint it? Nice build. I would line the interior with dark insulation board for warmth and to plan ahead for when your slats start gapping.

New 10' tripod set inside this Live Oak You can see a 2x4 shooting rest for crossbow. View from sitting in the tripod.

If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

Here are a couple of my West Texas blinds. I mostly bow hunt, so.... I do have some box blinds, but don't have any pics of them.

Sleeper off of a big rig. 7x6x7 completely aluminum and fiberglass. Rust and bug proof, a small heater will make it very warm. Plenty of room for the whole famdamily or a cot if staying overnight is your deal. I wish I had a couple more to make little sleeping quarters for the snorers at camp.

Here's one of my newest blinds. It's 7x4 and plenty tall and comfortable. It has 12 v lights and plug to charge my phone or run a computer to check game pics. I have a couple of these built and they are great to hunt out of. I'm thinking about selling this one unless I paint it and use it.
