Thanks I'll check that out. The rubicon comes with 4.11 gears, fine with up to 33's. Suggest researching the ODPA issues in the 05-06 jeeps The rubi's also come with Dana 44 axles which I plenty for 33's

Depending on your driving style a 44 can plenty for 37s or bigger. You can snap any axle if try. For most people's driving it isn't going to happen

Yeah, don't listen to me. I'm just an idiot.
Lol. Duckbill that was funny! The dude up top has already taken lots of bone before this deer, both mule and whitetail.

Depending on your driving style a 44 can plenty for 37s or bigger. You can snap any axle if try. For most people's driving it isn't going to happen The axle isn't the issue, the gears are the issue. Judging by your prior posts, I think you're well versed in that, but I wanted to make sure it was clear, as mentioned earlier, that the gearing is what needs to be changed in the D44 when going up in tire size. I have the D35 in my TJ Sahara, so I'm looking to swap up to a D44 with probably 4.88 gears, then adding air lockers in front and rear, suspension lift, new fenders, bumpers, winch, rock sliders... let the spending begin.
Yeah, don't listen to me. I'm just an idiot.
