My youngest shot her first deer Monday evening with her .223 at 45 yards she shot this nice spike buck Single point of the shoulder shot folded him like a house of cards. A proud day for me a great memory for her and her first of many more deer to come. Because now she's as addictive as I am to chasing Whitetail deer. And she's a chip off the old block. I think I got buck fever more than she did as she was getting ready to shoot him LOL the rush from watching her shoot was better than me shooting one myself.  He had bladed spikes. I believe I shot this bucks father last season same bladed spikes but they were 13"s long.
