Thanks for all the compliments gents. I'm glad y'all enjoyed them. I always enjoy hearing that others appreciate them.
I got several messages asking about gear and settings, so I'll run it down.
Camera body is Canon 6D. I love this camera's very sensitive center focus point. It's fast and accurate. I also love the camera's high ISO ability with very little to no digital noise.
The lens is a Tamron 150-600mm. Paired with the 6D, auto-focus is fast and accurate. Compared to a 600mm Nikon or Canon lens ($10,000), this lens is a real bargain at only $1069.00. You see the results.
The tripod is a Benro aluminum rated to 27 lbs and a ProMaster ballhead.
The trick to sharp images is a stead hold and high shutter speed. However, with low light and the lens stopped down to f/8 to achieve better sharpness, you have to boost ISO. Most of these shots are at ISO 4000-5000. Shutter speeds were from 1/500 to 1/1600. A steady base on the tripod and Vibration Control turned on produced pretty sharp images in this set.
All images were shot in RAW and post-processing was done in Canon's Digital Photo Pro software that comes with every Canon camera. I do have Adobe Lightroom, but it's a lot more time intensive to process images. The only adjustment to these images was to boost contrast a small amount, a little color saturation and I adjusted temperature a small amount. I spent approximately 30 sec. on each image.

You got skills with that camera brother, as said, great quality photos. And thanks for posting the specs for your rig, my daughter has a camera (Nikon D60) that I may take over and those lenses aren't cheap! Not even sure if the D60 was any good? not much of a camera guy.
