What does the owners manual say? Also lots of times the choke itself may state that steel shot is ok or not ok. Rule of thumb though is most of the time you don't shoot steel shot through anything tighter than a mod choke.

However there are some steel chokes that are labled "Full" and are made to be steel chokes but that same choke might not be a full choke when shooting lead.

I have the SPR453 and have really enjoyed it! I just went to look at my chokes and they all have STEEL stamped on them.

In looking at the manual there are two options, see quote from the owners manual below.

Model SPR 453 auto loading shotguns are available with fixed choke or screw choke barrels. There are
two types of screw chokes available: lead shot choke tubes and steel shot choke tubes. When installed,
steel shot choke tubes protrude approximately 3/4” from the muzzle end of the barrel and the mating lip
will be flush with the end of the barrel. When installed, lead shot choke tubes fit flush with or slightly
below the muzzle end of the barrel. If you have lead shot choke tubes and intend to shoot steel shot
cartridges or slugs, then you must use only the IC or Cylinder tubes. DO NOT fire steel shot or slugs in
Modified, Improved Modified or Full lead shot choke tubes. If you have steel shot choke tubes, you may
fire steel shot cartridges through any of those choke tubes. DO NOT fire slugs in Modified, Improved
Modified or Full lead shot choke tubes or steel shot choke tubes.

So you'll need to check if you have the steel or lead choke tubes.

Good Luck!

Is the Xfull choke stamped with the word steel?

If it is, then yes, you may shoot BB.

Keep in mind that the larger the steel pellet the worse they sometimes pattern as the chokes get tighter. I'd get the load you want to shoot and put them all to paper at 40 yards (or shorter if you are shooting at decoying birds). You can blow a pattern with a choke thats too tight.
