How much do you charge for a ring neck duck? And where are you located? Great work!

Not a problem, Matt. I'll be on the water Sunday morning, but should be back early. Just leave me a message if you have to. Thanks.

I have a pintail that i am thinking about mounting and I like the one that you have in this thread. How long does it normally take to finish one and are your prices current on your website?
Thanks,

PM Sent your way
Can't get the PM's to work today. Based on what's already come in I'm currently 11 months out. The prices are current and also include driftwood and habitat. Thanks for considering Bird Works for your mount! - Matt

That's dang good for your First! Use cereal boxes cut into strips for carding the wings as it will support them better while they dry. Practice back brushing the heads to get a nice full look. Good Job!

try getting some cardboard and cutting out a piece that will fit the feet and pin them the way you want and let them dry

Hey sethfish, When you starting on your coot pair anyways? How'd you get that grebe to commit? I've found that next to coot and ringers, the grebe is the toughest to hunt.

All season I tried to get them to come in, I changed up my decoys, I used the wind at different angles, I even retro fit and rigged some swimbaits with little motors to work as mojo minnows to entice them in, but nothing. Then finally I added the magic touch, a 20 oz big red and funyuns to the spread and wha-la. No more passing shots at Grebes. It is just hard to get that one leg back by the tail feathers and the other leg kinda up and around the head so he looks realistic.
