This weekend is opening day, so:
If your hunting a blind that a big buck is coming into fairly regularly, but not every morning, but there are does every single morning, do you:
1. Wait to see if buck shows
2. Take a doe
Most importantly, It's the one and only hunt you'll get all year!
*needs a poll but I don't know how!

As to the question, shoot a doe, that is better than nothing.

LOL I would shoot a hog and post it online and charge for sides and do all you can eat.

I would wait for the buck. Does will be there later if more hunting time comes up.

If I only had one hunt, I would give it until the doe looked like they were getting ready to leave, then drop one. If I had one weekend, I would wait until the last hunt and drop one.

I have one single hunt. One morning. Been invited to a really nice ranch around shamrock and it will be my one and only oppurtunity this year because I do not have a lease. This is a "bonus" from my awesome boss(his personal ranch) but it will only be this one morning. Haven't even seen a buck since I was 12, shot some doe since then but been venison-less for a long while now.

Shoot the first decent doe. Keep hunting all morning. A dead doe on the ground will not necessarily keep your buck from coming in later.

Can't shoot both. I feel dumb for not mentioning that. Ive thought about it and I think I'm just gonna risk it and try to wait and hopefully shoot the buck that's been coming in often.
