Possibly getting permission to hunt 2,800 acres 8 miles south of ranger mountain. I know the deer get a lot of pressure there but with that amount of land, do you think the hunting would still be pretty good?

Absolutely.

They used to run adds in the Dallas morning news, Ft Worth star telegram, for years. I'm not sure how big it is. Stay away from that place. 2cents

brew, that's great. If you're 8 miles south of Ranger hill, then that's not the day lease place. Sounds good. Don't be afraid to rattle, especially RIGHT NOW! Saturdays cold weather will have the bucks chasing. Good luck and tell us how it goes.

I will let yall know. We hunt in brownwood and are taking a look at it sunday. The owner mentioned possibly letting us hunt this year if we help out with fences and stuff and leading to us next year. So I am pretty pumped to say the least! 2,800 acres is a lot of land!
