I wanted to introduce myself, I am Terry Chester. 13 years ago I became disabled after having a small bowel obstruction misdiagnosed. Not to get into all the gorey detailed after 3 major operations I live with only 23% of my intestines. I am the president of the local chapter of the "no guts club". A little humor their.
Because of The Short Bowel Syndrome I llive with and the complications that go with it all, I thought my hunting days were over, until I was introduced to hunting with a crossbow.
This is my third year to hunt with the crossbow and I love it. I can still enjoy one of my favorite things to do, all though with a lot of limitations.
I look forward to hearing from others and making new friends.
I would ask one thing though, even though I may not look sick, and you don't see any physical limitations, don't forget, there are a lot that you can't see,
Have a fantastic hunting season, may your aim be true and your freezer be filled,
God Bless
Terry

Man, I feel for you. I have had about the amout of small intestine taken out that you still have. That and a removed iliosecal (sp) valve and gall bladder results in lots of trips to the bathroom at times.
I am also shooting a crossbow and enjoying it. Hope you get one this year. Costs make hunting difficult for the average guy anymoree.

Thanks rjd,
That is true, getting a lease especially on disability with all expense I have is not doable. Have a lot of deer pass through my sisters 2 acres so I am able to sit out on em that way.
Best o luck to you,
Terry

Welcome and great to know that you are still out there hunting. I have a guy on my lease that has the same issue. I am glad that you did not let a disability stop you from doing what you love!!! Crossbow on brother!

Welcome Terry. Glad to see you onboard. Hang in there and the worm will turn on you. Good luck on the cross bow and post up.
