A friend and I drew out for the 2nd hunt starting November 8 in Unit 30 NM. We have been going the last 9-10 yrs for me and approx 15-18 for him. It seems like the last 3-4 years have been hard to hunt and fewer deer have been seen. We have noticed more hunters in this area as well. I love going out there, just wanting some input on what other hunters think about this area. We know how to hunt this area well. We have both killed numerous bucks up until the last 2-3 yrs. we don't road hunt either lol. Where have the deer gone?

I haven't been to that area in 3-4 years, but the last two years before that, I noticed a drop in the number of deer we saw. I couldn't tell you what the problem is, but we did notice not seeing as many deer. Good luck too and let us know how it turns out.

I appreciate your input. We hunt hard all day long and can't seem to get on the deer like we used to. We love the area but it's getting harder to see any bucks.
