Is there any stores within an hour of plano that carry ghg decoys, specifically wigeon or gadwall?

Cabela's or at least have seen them there before. Gander Mountain also lists GHG decoys. I would give both a call before driving there just for the decoys though.

It's funny how I hear that so much. I've had a couple of puddler packs and some gaddies for at least 3 or 4 seasons and they're holding up great. No chipping at all and mine are TX rigged - not babied at all.

Lots of folks complain about the paint. I don't know if I just got lucky with my batch(es) or they got unlucky. Either way it does suck that they can't make them consistently right.

Out of all the decoys I've owned ghg and avian x are the best in my opinion. I'm rough on decoys and they always hold up. But I think you pretty much have to order then now, I haven't seen them in any stores in a while

I used to hunt over nothing but GHG. I finally got tired of constantly having to replace them or repaint them and switched to Dakotas... Ill never go back

Maybe yall are referring to the ghg hot buys.. those suck, the paint chips and they leak, but I I've had ghg pro grades for 7 seasons with no leaks and only a small amount of paint missing.

I've got some GHG of every make, species etc. some have held up ok, but some haven't. I'm sure it is batch specific. Somebody hurried up and painted before they were ready, or temp wasn't right. We all know how paint can be done poorly. Regardless, I am on to other brands and have purchased a few dozen Avian X and will see how they do. I am optimistic.

Order em off rogerssportinggoods.com and they should be shipped to you in 2 days.

As far as the quality of GHG, I have had some that have held up for a long time and others that I pull out of the box and a couple of them are already splitting in half.
