I never saw a good buck all year long. The only good ones were on the camera a night. everything i saw during light hours were spikes and forks.

Where are you hunting? A lot of pressure will make the older deer nocturnal.

I guess that's why they call it hunting and not shooting.
I've seen bucks before and after the season, that you wouldn't see during, and would always wonder where were they when I was out there hunting?
The main number one reason is probably hunting pressure, as is other factors that could be ideal to your area, as availability of food and cover.
Older bucks don't like to venture out into the open, and that is how they get big, as the younger ones don't seem to care a whole lot about their surroundings, until they wise up.
Usually it takes the rut to get the bigger ones to move into unsafe territory, but it's a small window, and you have to be in the right place, at the right time.
I'm buckless so far also, with only a week or so to go, but I'm betting that the deer win this one also this year, but who knows?

Man I would find another lease if you are hunting Nolan County and not seeing deer!
I drive through Nolan to get to my lease in Coke, and there are tons of deer in that county!

It's been a strange year where I hunt also, but I've had the experience in past years that I've gotten where I don't get too excited about what I see on the game camera.
I've had the experience like you where I've had huge bucks that never showed themselves during the season, and I can only come up with the explaination that they come from some other property, and only feed at night on my place, and during the day spend time elsewhere.
I had also seen bucks that I knew where there because I saw them, but never showed up on the camera at the feeder.
Game camera's are alright to at least give you an idea of what you may, or may not have around, but don't get your hopes up too high just because you catch it on camera, because that's a sure way to get a big let down.
