If I ever ran across one taking a pic would be the last thing on my mind... Right behind cleaning out my britches and grabbing my .270!

That is some beautiful country up there, really rugged. Strawn, Thurber, Mingus area has big deer too.

Great post bowhunt66. Welcome ...I saw one near the geographical center of Texas north of Brady, years ago. About 50 yards away rolling around on it's back in a wheat field. I pulled over and watched it for a couple of minutes on the side of 377. It spotted me and boogied. They are out there.

Erath there must have been titos involved on that day.

just messin with ya.

Kill'em, kill them all. Dogs, coyotes, bobcats, feral cats, snakes, got to clean up the state so the mice and rats can take over. Probably need to capture and educate all the birds of prey so they don't attack any puppies, kittens, pigeons, or chickens. Whoops, forgot about the foxes.

Wonder how many have been trapped in the past ten years?

Why would that be a shame?

Oh, and there's about 10 houses in several sections of land we're talking about.

We had two at the ranch in Denton County last fall. Got several trail cam pics and one Iphone pic from the ranch manager. The worst part was, They weren't afraid of people, just kinda went on their own way, no big hurry. Ended up killing a baby donkey and several deer! Sorry no pics though
