Watch out! My house and yard in southeast Bexar county are COVERED in army worms. We got some plots in the ground a week or two ago, sure hope those worms don't make it there or a freeze is on its way!

I had to spray my yard last week on Wed IIRC for army worms also. Had them in my yard the first week of July also this year. Had .80" of rain on Sat around noon and that gave my struggling oats a boost. So I expect to find army worms in them soon. bang

Brother planted oats and turnips. We had some good rains with moisture in the ground and I believe we got a little bit more rain so its probably germinating, I just hope we don't have worms!

Spray the fields with Liquid Sevin in a tank mix or pray for several nights in a row with temps in the low 50's or lower.
