Anyone have any suggestions on a good sit down chair for a box bow blind. Is there anything out there than an office chair that is comfortable. After a 3 hr sit this morning, I need some for next week.

Those tripod style blind chairs are fairly comfortable. A long sit does start to wear on you. May get a pad/cushion to add to the chair though.

Are you talking about the tripod chair made by browning?

Go to Walmart and get the midback office chair for around $55 with tax. It is a very comfortable sit, I have 1 in each of my blinds.

I got two office chairs off craigslist for $10 this year. Did the same a few years ago but those chairs got acquired by others on the lease smile

I was 4 wheeling in east texas and found an old platform stand, fallen over and long since it was last used,it had what had once been a very nice fishing boat chair mounted on it. I have to build me one of those for these old bones. Looked like a great idea and a set up you could sit in for hours upon hours.

On my last lease one of the members did this in a tree platform stand. He used a boat seat on top of a milk crate but you could do it with other bases. With the price of boat seats today it may be cheaper to do the craigslist thing unless you already have an extra one sitting around.
