There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

Arise.Kill.Eat -Acts 10:13 I have read a bunch of stuff on the internet about Star Wars but that does not mean I can skin a deer with a light saber.

I like that setup a lot. What kind of speeds do you get?

I like that setup a lot. What kind of speeds do you get? Good question I have never clocked it. I'm not good at guessing stuff like this, but here it is wide open.... It's weakness is speed and big waives. Its strength is that it serves as the best, roomiest, layout blind ever, and running shallow water. It is pretty much impossible to get stuck. As soon as you step out of the boat, that is all it takes for it to get unstuck (with your weight out buys you a few inches). Normally you can just stick a leg out and give a shove like a skate board and that will move you alone, mainly because when you push with your leg, it is less weight in the boat which allows it to run shallower. Unlike my Gator Trak, this boat runs the shallowest idling along, because it never plains. Unless I'm in a big hurry, I rarely run it wide open. I take my time. I have been beat to a spot many times, even with a huge head start . It is great going thru stumps as well.

That's a nice little setup. I've been wanting to get a small welded job boat with a copperhead on it but that setup looks good.

Jon boat is better unless you want to hunt out of the boat. I wanted a jon boat as well for times I didn't want to hunt out of the boat, jon boat will carry more gear and handle waives better. But I got my gator Trax for that now. That 7 hp Stumpjumper will push a 14 ft flat bottom Jon boat. You may want to look at that over a copperhead, those things are expensive.

What does your trailer rig for this ride look like? I bought the boat from a member on this forum, I bought the trailer from another member on this forum, and I bought the motor brand new. I moved that transom up makes a huge difference in how it rides on the trailer. I have done more tricks to the trailer to improve it, just no pics right now. That pic is from last season..

I can't completely tell, but where does the dog sit? When hunting she sits behind me.. I completely cover her with burlap, that also completely covers the motor, and has killerweed tied on to it. She sees just find thru the burlap to mark birds. Undercover view here, she gets here eyes right up against the burlap.

Wow, that thing disappears with the camo covering and good job on training her to look through the camo. Neat little boat.

Also like the pics at the top of the page. Well done. Wish I would've taken the time to do more of this. The few I have bring back great memories.
