Just wondering how many got to witness that great "Shooting Stars" event during the predawn hours on Saturday Morning. I didn't see anything to shoot, but seeing the meteor shower was awesome, never seen anything like it. I was running out of wishes they were falling so fast. Great event, I hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did.
Happy New Year!

I saw it with my wife in the car heading to our lease. We thought it was a good sign, but then the big deer didn't show up. It was a good show, though.

I was in my blind in Tom Green county at 5:30 AM and was several. Beautiful morning. No bucks so we took a doe. I think the bucks must of thought the sky was falling.

I saw about 15.. was hunting out in west TX(about 40 miles from Big Bend).
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

We got to the blind way early Saturday. My daughter and I stood on the porch of the blind for at least 30 min. watching. We had to have seen at least 50.

I counted 28 that I was sure of, there were some that I just caught a glimpse of and I wasn't sure that my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. I hunt the northwestern corner of Montague County and it looked like some of the meteors (stars) were almost making it to the ground. I know of one that left a huge streak in the sky after it had burned out. Pretty Cool!
