Just curious if anyone is seeing anything around here. Not sure if it's still too early but we are not seeing anything but pigs.

I am in on border of northern freestone and southern navarro county. Just south of Richland chambers. Yes still pretty green but haven't seen many acorns.

Some big boys below RC dam area, and along Tehuacana (spelling?) creek. There are also a lot of Bald eagles too...Don't shoot them.

We just got about 400 ac between Fairfield and Kirvin on 27....just got 4 cameras up Sunday PM. Seen lots of does and a couple nice bucks. Lot's of hog sign and seen a couple. The place is 95% wooded but have next to no acorns! Have three feeders going, by next weekend should have all 10 stand sites cleared, mowed, and feeders going.

Snakewrangler, you're in a prime spot. Good luck to you. Thanks! Yea...we really lucked into this place. Hasn't been hunted in several years....shut the dozer down and were standing by the pickup about 60 yrd from a feeder...had a doe and yearling walk out and eat while we were talking and drinking a beer....they just looked at us every few minutes and went about their business. Can't wait to see what’s on the cams.

Hmm. Not so lucky where we are. Just mainly hogs. A few doe that we haven't seen in a while and a couple of tiny bucks. Just wasn't sure if it was too early still or what. Wasn't like this last year.

If you are near any creeks you have good bucks, trust me...they just need the ladies to get right and they will come up from those creek bottoms. Have u tried to thin the hogs any? On my place once they get shot at a few times they tender to stay away for a while...good luck!

Yes we kill pigs every chance we get. I'm not a big fan of killing something and letting it lay but I will a pig.
