In 2015 with the new regulations will a 2011 Cummins with the dpf filter removed pass inspection?

Been wondering the same thing about my 2011 Powerstroke that is fully deleted... I guess it's good that I know some people.

I kept mine when I had my 'stroke. Every time it went back to dealer I put it back on, took maybe 30 minutes. But to answer your question, yes you will fail. In their rules regarding emissions that the Feds(or whoever it is) set forth, machine will detect that it's not there, along with the tail pipe probe taking the readings, and it will fail you .

Thanks for the input I was thinking about keeping it and just putting it back on and I guess that's going to be the best option.

I don't know how the Cummins is set up, but the stroke had 3 inch long pressed in studs. I fought the hell out of them, prying them until they all cleared. Then it hit me after I had it out, knock the studs out except for the top one and use bolts and nylock nuts

In Harris county they only do safety inspections. It costs me 14$ for each of our cars to get them inspected.
