Pope & Young Montana Archery Pronghorn. Got this bad boy a couple weeks ago. Hunted Wyoming last year and couldn't get close enough, went back to the same outfitter, hunted Montana and got it done on day 2. Got him close to the last shooting light so I backed out and recovered him first thing the next morning. I didn't hardly sleep and as it turned out he was only 40 yds from where he was hit.

Very nice, what did he score, were you hunting a waterhole?
I would consider that my ultimate trophy with a bow. I have never tried and never will but that is really great.

Thanks everyone. He scored 72 4/8ths I hunted near water in a slightly elevated blind, with BlueRock Outfitters near Broadus Montana. There was some good activity in the surrounding 2000-3000 acres, but on day 2 - they all came together and watered at the same time. I've never seen anything like it. There were 25 or so that grouped up and then I saw this guy. They sent the young does in first and they are like crackheads with 8X eyesight, lol. Extremely skittish and I swear they should have been able to hear my heartbeat! Even in the blind I was cammoed up and sprayed with scent killer. I was surrounded. eyeballs everywhere, lol I am hooked on archery pronghorn and already booked for next season, Although I realize I could hunt a lifetime and never see so many come in at once like that again. Might even go next time for a big Doe to match the pair on the wall. And by the way, the meat is fantastic!. Between Deer and Axis on my scale of goodness.
