Don't know the hunter so I chopped his head off but here is another pic.  Sapper you okay. You will get over it in a few days. Mellow out Bud. You're back in the states.  I'd say that Sapper is OK, just don't shoot a bigger buck than him and you'll be alright.

Great buck. I was stationed at Fort Hood for almost two years in the mid-90s, with most of that time in the field, and I never saw a good buck.

Funny thing is someone posted the area it was killed in. I wouldn't be too happy about that. Im sure that area will be crowded next yr. my guess would be that the area he killed it in is not really the area he is telling people. No way he would want to put pressure on that area even for next year. I believe he would just like to throw people off to possibly take pressure off the true area it was killed in. Just another thought.

Personally, I wouldn't care what the number was if I shot him, I'd be tickled pink. But I have him at roughly 165.

Just another thought. when you kill a deer on Ft hood you have to check it in at the game check station a guy who works at check station is the one who posted where it was killed not the hunter.
