Yep, been checking looking at it everyday since last week. How many hunts do ya'll apply for normally? Last year I tried 5 but wasn't selected, this year I upped it to 13 just to have a chance get out there.

I put in for 2 but haven't put in for spring turkey yet. However the ones I put in for will take a tremendous amount of luck to get drawn.

I drew gun deer any sex for gus engeling,12/1 5 to 12/19 ..just curious, can you use a bow if you want? I can look it up but I'm on my phone...

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

I was was successful of 1 draw, put in for 31. I get to hunt Richland Creek WMA 11/10-11/14 either sex one buck outside spread of 13" or better. Needless to say I'm pumped again.
I hunted Guadelupe state park last year and struck out. I'm ready to connect.

I got drawn for Lake Whitney SP doe/spike. 1 out of 10. All the others say pending 2nd draw, and they haven't picked the Gun-MGMT yet so I guess there still a chance for another one.

Well, I've struck out on all the deer hunts so far except Gun Deer Management. I was sure I would get drawn for Gun Deer Antlerless. I have 15 points in that one now.

I'd forgotten that the results would be posted On Line this year...duoh! until I saw this thread yesterday. Hadn't had any EMails from TP&W so I went looked just now.
I'd put in for 2 each in GDE & GDA, this year, and all 4 of them are shown as "Pending the 2nd Drawing" or whatever the terminology is, so I ain't out of it yet with 10 & 12 LP's per Category.
Didn't like any of the Locations offered in this years EXO, and didn't want to waste my 16 LP's on someplace I wasn't happy with so mebbe next year. Might have to look at some of the Categories still open too, just to add LP's if nothing else. Got my Garner itch scratched couple years ago and won't go again, at least from Texoma with a 9 hour one way drive time. Really didn't care for how the Hunt was run either, with the very limited time in the blinds mandated.
Sure would like to go to South Llano River SP and been trying every year it was offered in any Category since 1999...and it's made the 2nd Drawing List so far.

I picked in GDA, South Llano River SP & Enchanted Rock, with my 10 LP's on the line. Then in GDE I picked Muse & Lake Mineral Wells SP with 12 LP's to work with. We'll see how the Pending 2nd Drawing thingy works out.
Anybody been to any of these?

Yea, I'm pretty sure it's going to be standby city for me this year. I just hope that the new second draw doesn't cut into standby spots too badly.
It's OK though. I have a new spot I've scouted out in a national forest that will not be named. I'm positive it's a good one.
