 Looking for a Range near Forney, TX

I just got my daughter a .243 and I need to take her and let her get some practice. Is there a range or place I can take her to shoot near Forney. I did a quick search on the internet and all I found was $5000.00 yearly memberships, $350 a year with no per day use...etc. I don't shoot year round so a membership is not something I am interested in.

I have heard of this one and I know where it is but haven't been out there...I actually heard that they are not very nice folks? Any truth to that?

He wouldn't let me set up my chronograph because "it would take too long", when there were still people down range. I had ran down to 200 and ran back. The manager/owner there is a total a$$. I told him I would never be back.
