This is just an update for the members hunt the 10th and 11th.

Things you will need-

Please get together on your food, as this was not included in the package. The lodge has all bedding , you might want to bring your own pillow, the ones we have are small.

Waders, bring them if you have them it MIGHT rain, they are not required. Make sure you have water proof clothing incase it rains.

Leagal shot for waterfowl, Ducks and Geese.

Upland birds please use #7.5 or #6 shot nothing larger please.

Check-in will begin at 4 pm on Fri, if you will be latter that will be fine please do not come early.

If you can please visit our web site, this will help answer your questions and let you get to know a little bit about us.

Directions to the lodge are on our site. www.hotguidedhunts.net

I am very busy we are running multiple hunts every day so if you have questions please call me, if you post them I will not get them.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you that signed up!

I know that last year at the THF Hunt someone brought a grill. Is anyone bringing one this year? If someone brings one, I will buy the charcoal and lighter fluid for it.

Me and Homerunslayer07 will be packing light in case we have issues at home with my mother and have to get back fast.

I was just going to bring a steak and maybe some hotdogs or hamburger patties and grill them, but I don't have a grill. Like I said earlier, if someone brings a grill, I will bring charcoal and lighter fluid.

Yeah, there is a grill there. Also, you are only 6 miles from Hubbard, and Hubbard has everything, restaurants, adult beverage, grocery store where you can buy steaks, etc… So if you come with nothing you should be ok, the grocer store (Dave’s) closes at 7 or 8, you have to watch out for that.

One day for sure eat at El Original (texmex), their food is excellent. There is also a good burger/breakfast joint (County Kitchen) and a real nice Steak restaurant and also a Dairy Queen.

I figured they had to have a grill. I'll bring some sausage links to grill up and some tortillas.

I know fowlmouth is bringing his dog. He does the competition retriever thing.

Food = I'm up for just about anything.

Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.

I think it's only around 80 miles from my house so I should be there anywhere from 4 to 5 or so depending on how busy I am at work on Friday.

No, I am definitely out. With my work partner having surgery and my grandfather down the way he is, I need to be around here.

I should be there before 6 depending on traffic and how busy things get at work. Its about 80 miles from work, so making it my 6 should be no problem.

I'm up for whatever you guys decide concerning food.
