Saturday we went to our little special place. We got our limit in 50 minutes. There were two of us. They were thick. Easily hundreds in the air at all times. Our birds were Wigeons and gadwalls.

Sunday there were three of us. It was much slower until we were picking up decoys. It took us 1 hour 20 minutes to get three limits. We got one mallard drake and the rest were wigeons and gadwalls. We were hunting over a huge spread(huge for us) of about 4 dozen decoys. This is public land in Texas.

Cool. Good job!
Do you have to haul your kayaks very far? I ain't asking where mind you I am just trying to get a feel for how hard it would be to haul a kayak and gear from access point to water.

We have dropped them at waters edge in some areas and hauled them 300 yards in other areas. The key is to get one of the polypropylene ones with a smooth bottom. Those can be dragged. The duck boats with feet are hard to haul.

Since they are fiberglass they do not take the abuse of friction.

Who is the manf on the yak. I am looking for a lightweight one that can take the abuse and I can use on the Red River and sloughs.
Thanks
